HCI Nerdz is the home for human–computer interaction work that is graphical, spatial, and product-facing — UI chrome, discoverability, theme integrity, dialogs, desktop metaphors, and the cognitive honesty of what an interface teaches.

Why this org exists

Software keeps spending human attention. Interfaces hide capability behind power-user syntax. Settings GUIs drift from the files they claim to represent. Previews fight the host theme. Filters advertise a shorter story than the search engine already knows.

Those are not polish nits. They are product representation bugs: the surface lies about what counts, what succeeded, and what the system can do.

Sibling to OpenShellOrg

Shells and CLIs already have a home: openshellorg. That org owns SOS, structured pipelines, progressive CLI help, and entrypoint honesty.

HCI Nerdz owns the other half of that fight — how humans see and manipulate systems.
